Hiragana and Katakana-Japanese App Reviews

I have been using this app to supplement my Japanese learning and is wonderful! I dont feel uncertain of its accuracy like I have with other apps... This app is very user-friendly! I highly recommend this app! If you are reading the reviews decided wether to get this app or not, DO IT! It is so wonderful to see an app for learning Japanese that isnt trying to con you into buying something!

This is a really good app for learning, I just wished that it would have text so that we can practice our reading.

Very good information and a supplementary app I use with another I can practice my stroke order for. It pronounces each character and has the stroke order. Unfortunately, theres no stroke practice but the quiz/review lets you compare what youve learned. You can kinda cheat because the answers at the top if youre familiar with vowel order but other than that, good free resource.

This App is great for beginners ! I love quiz when learning a new language. It makes the study more interesting, besides you can assess your progress.

This is the perfect app to start learning kana. I am currently using it in conjunction with my japanese 1 class and it is everything i could ask for and more. Literally everything to get started on reading the japanese language is here.

This app can help anyone if they want to learn any hiragana and/or katakana symbols. This also has some short but helpful words too. Its pretty helpful.

I never thought id find an app good enough that would help me understand and learn Japanese I tried many other apps but none of them were good enough until I found this one and I understand it a lot more clearly now. I have found this to be one of the top apps out there free or paid for learning Hiragana and Katakana. It looks very simple and it is, but thats what makes this so great. Its easy and fast to use. 10/10 would recommend to anyone studying Japanese.

Easy to memorize alphabets.

Very intuitive interface and simple to understand. This app also comes with example vocabulary which is a plus! I like this app so much I went to their website and purchased some of their study materials. If you are looking for a way to practice your kana or review your kana while learning new words, this app is a must have. It is also free! Their website also has an abundance of Japanese study resources useful for any type of learner!

This app is the what I relied on so much, when learning the basics of kana and i would recommend it to everyone. It has quizzes and allows you to save words you are having trouble with. 10/10 <3

This is a great app for learning how to write, read, and speak the language! It is super useful and educational. There could be another update to improve the interfacing, but other than that, I HIGHLY recommend this for anyone who wants to learn Japanese!
